The dream started in 2020 when many manufacturers could not keep up with the demand due to new interest and slowed supply chain. Cottonmouth Customs started with one yard of elastic and hook velcro, and has been entirely self funded from there. The community of military and civilian preparedness have rallied around small shops and made them essential to filling the gaps of design and innovation. We remain committed to this dream: Getting you good gear, that fits your needs. All while being handmade, right here in small-town America.

Most of our products are built to order, this can mean longer lead times. Review our workshop lead times, shipping methods, and lifetime craftsmanship guarantee before submitting your custom design specifications.

Shipping and returns

Some smaller or popular items are kept in stock and will ship before expected lead time. For larger items or custom work, it can take up to a month before we can get to it. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

We ship nationwide and to some international destinations. APO/FPO shipping available as well. Returns are allowed for items that do not meet standards as long as they are not damaged by the user.

All of our gear is handmade, and while every piece goes through QC, some things slip through the cracks. If you receive a defective or damaged item it will be replaced at no cost.
